Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra
Very warm welcome to a combined class of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra on Wednesday evenings!

Yin Yoga offers a deep stretch and relaxation of our fascia, the connective tissue that holds our body together. It is a more passive practice that encourages our capacities to be still, surrender and witness the boundaries of our body.

In each class we will practice a Yin Yoga sequence related to a specific meridian, an energy channel in the body. For example, one class will be dedicated to the liver and gallbladder meridian, another to the heart and small intestine meridian. Each taxing the physical, energetic, emotional and mental aspects.

The second part of the class (appr. 30-45 mins) will be dedicated to a Yoga Nidra, a conscious sleep meditation practiced in shavasana. Yoga Nidra offers deep relaxation on the physical, mental and emotional level combined with attentive awareness. The therapeutic nature of Yoga Nidra brings about inner tranquility, joy and well-being.
